The Durga is not a cheaper 501X, I would consider it a less expensive version...

I am running mine in the National at the end of the month...... should be fun, now do I get a center one-way (do they do them, do the TA05 one fit?) cause I have never liked a front one-way....

Are any of you Durga types planning to post your setups like folks have for the 501? For beginners like me it would be interesting learning

In what may I ask? a one way in a 18th scale buggy is a world of difference from a one way in a stable well-handling easy-to-drive car like the Durga.
Just mentioning the 'extremes' there of course. ![]() I find a one way is easier to drive on most tracks as you don't have to 'attack' as much to get the car round - it does it on its own. ![]() |

haha it does give more 'steering' and thats what I don't like, it makes it feel more point and squirt rather than driving it.... maybe it is me getting old though, lol. I just find a front diff makes me far more consistant, although maybe a little slower over a flying lap, but a lot faster over 300+seconds.....

Ive been running mine recently with a front one way at Kiddy and Coventry. It is very hard to get used to...especially braking (and spinning).
I,m going to persevere with it though as ive been getting some half decent lap times.I,ll prob try the centre when it appears too.

Do any of you guys know where i can locate some of the 840 bearings for the slipper assembly? Apparently my bearing took a beating and came apart on me. Thanks guys.

Lube is Lube dude. I didn't expect a "yes" for an answer, but the green slime was all i had around at the moment. Problem has been fixed though. Not to question your intelligence, but are you sure green slime is used specifically for shock O rings? I beg to differ.

Green Slime is a lube specifically for O rings, it is not suitable for use as diff lube.
