Wink LA-122 evo-s body

I think kamtec also sells those bodies, at least i bought one of them, but i think the original kyosho body will be of better quality.

some area's of the kamtec body are very thin.

regards,

kenios

kyoshos shell is half the thickness of kamtec. The kyosho one will be fine if being used as a shelf queen.

Wink regarding the La 122 body

to add to my previous post;

some areas are very very thin of the kamtec body !! and i had original bodies from kyosho from the past kits that i had, and they are the same thickness over the entire body.

therefore i prefer to buy original kyosho bodies.

no hard feelings for the Kamtec bodies, they produce very rare and good bodies, but i prefer to have a thickness that's the same, so area's off the body have equal strenght and don't get destroyed when cutting the body or when you are on track.

regards.

no problems, just that the zxs shell is paper thin and ultra light hence why i recommend the kamtec. If your racing it then maybe a good idea to buy a kamtec undertray as the original breaks easily. You will need to tape the shell as well after painting to give strength otherwise it has a tendancy to rip across if a crack appears.

I bought the nice looking and strong James Instone version for my Lazer ZX-RR, looks superb!!!BTW James many thanks for this design dude!!!
I guess there is no difference between all the ZX-R shocktowers, due to the wing mount are the ZX ones different from the ZXR.

its down to your preference. The zxs one is a tight fit but the tomcat shell is bigger but doesnt have any cut lines (just like the zxs) so you need to be very careful when cutting. The zxr undertray isnt an exact fit so youll need to cut away a section at the rear to get a flush fit.

Me i use the zxs but i have redesigned the chassis to use it but is all down to what you want.
