I think I've got an old Peak V2 12x1 somewhere you can have on the cheap, I didn't use it too much so it will last you a while. A 12 is quite a bit hotter than what you have now but I can show you how to slow it down if you want

they are both exactly the same just different labels. I would recommend the novak motors though. I thought you couldn't afford brushless

at modelsport they sell an lrp system with the lrp sphere and the lrp vector which is £180, which ive got

what motor do you run in it now

I run 20-22 using a 6.5 turn, you woundn't go far wrong with a 21, but its useful to have a choice depending on track conditons etc.

Any standard 48 dp pinion will do, and a 21 tooth is probably as good a starting point as any.

What motor did you get, a 6.5?

If it's a 6.5 with the standard bonded rotor then I would start around 19/20 with the kit spur
