Yes it is a Core horn, and it works flawlessly.

Default Missing parts

Argg only got to Step 7 and I am missing parts. 2 screws and a steering post. Of course Shumacher was closed when I called. So I emailed them. I hope they are fast on sending the parts

A small kimborough servo saver will fit without problem, I reckon.

How much slop have people got in the steering after a few weeks racing?

There is verry little slop in the steering as long as you keep everything tight or use thread lock when you put the steering together

The steering arms on my car are sloppy before the car has even been run

The bearings fit very poorly into the steering arms, which allows a lot of up and down movement - will be interesting to see what its like after a few meetings.

I'm not sure what material Schumacher have used for the plastic parts but it would appear that it is certainly different from what they used on the Cat SX as my Cat plastic parts were of very good quality, whereas the Cougars are frankly very disappointing.

Hopefully the on-track performance makes up for this

Hi,

I may not bother ordering any replacements if some people have the issue from new. I'll wait a few months for them to get on top of things.

Car is awesome on the track though and love it. Agree it's not up to the same quality as the Cat SX, which is superb.

I notice half the A main are filled by cougar drivers.

what were they driving last year?

and how did they do last year?

with all due respect, these drivers can do the bis with either xfactory, kyosho, AE, losi, tamiya or schu.

Why is it taking so long time to get spare parts in stock? The dealers in Sweden has to pic parts from the kits so people can go to races.
