TBH im glad people are think the same as me on this situation, when schuys rep came in we had a heated convo on this and i warned him that people are getting fustrated, especially as people are posting pics on here. i said if an honest answer was posted as per Chris A`s post then people would understand.
His inital answer was that this will sell them more kits but im glad common sence has prevaled and Chris has posted.
This does remind me of the GT5 farce on ps3 weve only been waiting 4 years. lol

i can imagine this is not a good situation on both sides as a lot of buisness capital tied up for kits that are ready but have no boxes or a small item missing.

wonder how many x6s have been bought instead?

I'll still be getting a Cougar SV and hopefully running it at the EPR national.

I have other 2WD cars and lets face it, it's not the end of the world.

If it means I have to gear up my B4 then so be it, the B4 is still a fab car.

Speak to Schumacher on Monday and see what they say? Christ, ask to speak to Chris or Robin and talk to them?

quote Stegger : 'If it's the same as when the SX came out it will come with wheels, tyres and inserts'

thanks for that. By the way, I'm fairly new to 1/10, I raced rallycross for about 3-4 years and was used to any old wheels fitting the hubs at least as they are all 17mm hexes (as I'm sure you're all aware). I take it 1/10 hasn't gone quite this uniform in regards to wheel fitment? Why is that? Is there an advantage to different wheel fitments?

It's Lee Martin, not the Tamiya car.

It'll just be coming with Wheels - no tyres or inserts.

Then you bolt on the tyres you need etc.

I thought that was what I'd heard, I've got the tyres and inserts, just no car to put them on!

To be fair to mikey Scott , if the top lads (martin , cragg, elliss ect) ran tamiya grass hoppers , and I ran the latest equipmet they would still kick my arse , I would say %80 is driver the rest is the car , if your a quick driver your pretty much quick with anything !

As regards to the now "tamiya vs Schumacher" debate that seems to be developing I'm a big tamiya fan and I love that this car is coming out and winning but i'll be buying a schumacher because;

1. Its British ( well some bits are , probably)
2. It looks the tits, and abit retro.
3. It dosen't look like somebodys just trodden on it (the tamiya especially does)
4 . Its got big purple shock absorbers
5. Hopefully it will keep all of my electrics dry on a wet grass track.
6 I'm an average driver and expect no gain from driving a top end car....just the kudos

You pays you money you take your choice

I think competition in the market is a great thing and today at our club I was happy to see some Losi XXX-CRs running in what normally is a 2WD field dominated by B4s.

4WD a it's nice mix already.

More SV parts added on Schumacher's site

It could always been a push the date back and then if it turns up before then
