You can get there for Friday evening so as to lug your gear up the 4 flights of stairs but it is whether you wish to leave your expensive kit there over night. Best to make sure everything is in big bags for the long haul! Otherwise you will need to be there early doors on Sat and Sun to lug the gear 4 flights of stairs. I think last year we were there around 6-6.30 as it opens 7am and you need to get in the queue.

Ok cheers for the info. going to book Friday night at the local hotel too.

Agree about the high value items, but equally a nightmare carting kit around.

May share a toolbox with a mate etc.

No 12v batteries I assume (thank god I didn't sell my mains PSU from Pro peak)

Mike

Mike I always use the ProPeak 12v PSU everywere. If I am outdoors I plug it onto my 700W generator as I hate it when a 12v PB battery dies.

Hi Tony,

Are you wake up now? I sent you 2 or 3 emails since 3 months to confirm your pre-booked

As written in the rules part of the race website you must confirm by the payment with paypal -> please sent your payment as "Friends/gift" and NOT as a purchase to [email protected]

Now go there to keep your title 1 guy from the Sun Rising wil come to take it Entraine you with your new car

Latest places are available yet; wake up guys, the PETIT RC " Invitational" RACE is doing for you : Keep the spirit of it : Technical, spectacular and fun and then you will say "I was there / J' y étais"

REMEMBER you last January....

I'm interested in this, but I value my gear.. I thiink pit towels, boards and toolboxes I would put on our table Friday, but no racing kit itself.

The Maritime Racing facility is on its own floor at the (old) Ropery building in the historic docks. There is security to go through to get on to the site and the building itself is kept under lock and key by club officials when not in use.

Do not worry about your gear overnight as the venue is secured when the last person leaves. Bear in mind that some of the club racers leave their equipment out from one week to the next!

Last year I left all my stuff at my pit to save time the following morning. I am sure that your concerns will disappear when you get there...

Hope this helps

Anybody able to give me an idea on tire wear / how many sets of tires per day? Just trying to make the budget work as I want to go now and it's just the bank manager being sensible
