Myself and the entire heat1 were completely new to buggy racing, so you would be in good company :-)

ATTENTION THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!

Round 2 - 28th November 2010

Due to a Mini-Z event on the Saturday morning/afternoon, practice will only be available from approximately 18:00 until around 22:30 - 23:00 on the Saturday.

So you can spend your time getting there if you are stopping the night. Remember caravans and campers are welcome. :-)

Glad to hear about the Qualifying format and finals have been changed. Maybe you could give FTD a go at one of the meetings. After all the track doesnt change that much and FTD means you usually get the fastest drivers on the finals as you have 4 runs to do it (old skool)

I'd have to agree with James on the track front, please no more rumble strip areas

Now i heard things are chaning and for the better, im looking forward to coming back. p.s can we have some heat this time please. Was a bit chilly last time even with hoody/jacket on throughout the day

Chilly? Buggy drivers complaining about the cold? I never thought I would hear that :-), we are working on it, as you can imagine heating a building that size will cost more than the fees we charge for racing so we have to be clever, so when you come next you will see the pits are now enclosed and insulated and we have a gas space warmer that we will stick on before hand. While racing and marshalling it will still be cold so please make sure you wrap up warm, 2 pairs of socks etc..

Please remember practice is from Saturday 18:00 till 23:00, not the entire day due to Mini-Z comp during the Saturday daytime. I will include this on every post I do so that people won't miss it.

See you on the 28th!

Probably not buggy drivers. Just me . Never like being cold.

Really good to hear you guys taking in comments and acting on them so quickly, very impressive.

I will be doing another heat list Tuesday next week, so you can all check your details before the weekend. Looking forward to it.

So many people doing both 2 and 4wd ... you all must be mad .. lol

Danny, as for keeping warm the answer is simple, eat the jacket spuds .. great!
(If you eat enough of them you'll reach a pyshical peak for staying warm ... )
