I seem to remember an extremely wet and muddy Tanaplan GP that was held at the Toddington track, but the one further over in the field not the garden centre one. I didn't race, just went to watch and remember Jamie Booth, Ellis, Lee Wright etc ............. i'm not 100 per cent that it was the Tanaplan, it could have been a different meeting but it was definitely at that track and was a massive meeting ............ Good times

God i remember most of the Tracks, Chesham was always cool except for the random lumps on the straight

I remember the one behind the garden centre, it had raised bank sections at both ends of the track if it's the one i'm thinking of?? I remember having a good race with Rich Barton at a Regional there....

What was that other track behind a Pub?? I remember racing my Yokomo MX-4 for the first time on that track...... i think it was about then i started to realise how bad the year with that car was going to be

Good-god I can remember those tracks too doing the Chiltern/Mid South regionals, whatever happened to them & the clubs that ran them?

Alex - definately prefer the old-skool grass tracks - I just can't get my head around these full astro tracks! LOL Do you remember the Northants Schumacher challenge series, to think we had that many clubs just in the one county to run an inter-club series... now only the one club remains running off-road (not counting the large scale track by Santa Pod) I went for a meal the other day at the Greyhound Pub in Milton Malser - which brought back memories of racing on the front lawn there.

LOL - There you go Lee - Nick knows about all these venues - it was great there - I won a regional there once or did Dave get me on the line - I can't remember - Can you imagine how good you would of been if you raced on these tracks Lee LOL

And you had to be gentle with the thottle otherwise only 4 and a bit minutes - Now it's jam jam and more jam

Only ever did one meeting at Chesham - a 2wd regional about '96
Darren and Tony had almighty arguement during one the legs of the A final - nothing changes...I'm sure they were both wrong anyway....

Looking farward to seeing Kyosho cars out there, hopefully with a really top line driver.
Neil, will there be an 'official announcement' of a team?
