Fred does the rings personally, one at a time. He then uses an high quality ball and the result is amazing. As Fred said above, it's 99% the ring, and, I will add, Fred's talent and hard work. A B-Fast diff will be the smoothest you have ever even thought about, and properly adjusted & maintained will last far longer than a "normal" diff.

Still a need to sand the diff plates?

Looks like you had not done your homework too well, since Schumacher have also decided the way forward is to NOT include tyres in their 2wd kit either, wheels yes, but no tyres.

I agree with Schumacher on this since you can NEVER supply tyres to suit everyones preffered track surface, this is the very reason the X6 Sq EC does not have them too, we also decided to NOT include wheels since if you supply yellow they will want white, if you supply spoked they will want dished, the manufacturer is in a no win situation.........

I think everyone has learned that yellow wheels are terrible and should not be supplied with any car.

and why would anyone want spoked wheels!?

being serious now, wheels/tires are consumable/disposable items

seems like every manufacturer has their snipers. from what I can see is that there is another 'full' kit on the market, happys days

I dream of the day when we can all enjoy and get excited about new things coming out in the RC world and constant improvements that are going on and leave the handbags on the left near the coat stand and shoes.

2 to 3 weeks is still on the cards for our shipment here (plus any time stuck in UK customs of course). The kits are all being released globally at the same time too....

Hi Chris, the "next" one is the the EC, in two weeks time, if you mean the next "concept" (ie nothing like an X6 SQ) then a LONG time away (not even in our thoughts at this stage)

The original X6 (3 gear) came out several years back, followed by the updated X6 three and half years ago (4 gear tranmission etc). The Squared conversion then hit our shores early 2009.

Since the Squared was released there have been no major changes, although you can now buy the car in three seperate ways
1. The original "X6 Squared" conversion kit
2. The "Ellis Stafford X6 Squared Champioship Edition" conversion kit
3. The "X6 Squared EC" entire kit

All three end up as the self same thing when built, we continue to sell number 1 (std conversion) for those still with B4's who simply wish to convert over, number 2 (the Ellis kit) was released to celebrate his two back to back UK titles with the X6 platform, it features lots of the bling and high end aftermarket parts that are available today (if the ultimate is your preferance and bling is your thing) and now number 3 (the entire kit) for the first time X-Factory buyers can buy the whole car in a box without the need to convert or to have a donor car.

The X6 Squared has no plans to be changed for at least the 2010 or 2011 seasons.

Tremendous. Somebody told me that there was another car planned (2WD) after the EC kit. Im well up for getting the new kit but after i heard 'the rumour' i was a bit put off.

Ive got a used X6 squared that goes pretty well but it could do with being replaced i suppose for the outdoor season.

Thanks for the reply.

You dont know how hard it has been to get this 2wd project done!! This has been MANY months in the planning stage with LOTS of discussion, thoughts and ideas along the way from all corners of the globe. As Chazz first wrote a few weeks back now, this is the biggest thing X-Factory have taken on as a project yet!!!

However, maybe there is another car coming after the X6 EC (not saying how soon though), but maybe it is not 2wd!!!!
