Pete, Karmann Ghia, really - you NEED to keep us up to speed on that.

You need to see my new battle-bus - you will approve.

It's not another Dagenham Dustbin -

Thanks Pete - I think I know where I have another receiver now, it's in one of two cars somewhere with a broken case but it still works I think my good one and my pt have vanished! poo
On the plus side tho, I do have some servo tape that I'll bring - both 3m clear stuff and some big roll stuff.

If anyones got spare capacity for a lil one on their 12v supply give me a shout I've only been racing for 6 years now - not had the time to invest in one yet

Sadly it's not for me (can't afford the asking price), going early doors with a mate to make sure he views with head as well as heart. This one is ace on paper though, full resto '56 lowlight with Porsche brakes, 2 ltr+ motor etc.

Oh, and the ladyfriend has booked Sunday night in addition to Monday and Tuesday as a 'Valentines treat' so there's very little chance I'll even get chance to pop in and say howdy now, let alone race. Some treat!

Look forward to seeing your new wheels, whatever they may be. Have fun tomorrow, I've already given the track a brief test...

They are not as nice as the MK2 GTI, but as far as practical wheels go they are nice.

Booking in the day is one I wouldn't like to say, there is already 91 booked in so that would have to be to WoOdy and Rog and Nick.

You will need your own tables and chairs and mains power is available, just bring an extension.

The address and postcode will either me on a previous thread or the clubs website which is mentioned in this thread, you can't miss it with about 5 mins of searching.

Last time it was a late one and we left about 7:00pm. Hopefully this time won't be as late as WoOdy was trying to stress to people the importance of keeping the meeting moving. The computer through qulaifying is usually set on a specific time between heats. There is usually sufficeient time.

Hope this helps??
Just in case here you go..

Radclyffe Athletic Center, Hunt Lane, Chadderton, OL9 0LS.. Leave Motorwat M60 Junc 21 and follow signs to Chadderton, its roughly 5 mins from the motorway.. You'll see a new Bryants Housing Development going up on a corner.. turn here this is Hunt Lane an you will see the entrance a little further down on your left!

Doors open at 10, racing from 11... last time Roger had a nightmare as the printer decided to pack up and put is back 1.5hrs We have a new one now though so racing will start at 11 if not before...

Cheers

Nick

Just a quick thankyou to everyone came today

115+ i think we had in the end, anpther amazing turn out!

Hope everyone enjoyed the day

The next meeting will be running as planned March 15th BUT we will be starting much earlier simply because of the numbers we are getting.

I would like to say doors will be open at 8am.. racing to start at 9/9.30.

Roger/woOdy will be im sure confirming this...

Thanks again to everyone for coming, and the much appreciated crowd who help set up and clear away (u know who you are!) and of course to Roger for running the meet!

Welldone to the winners of the BMAX and B4!

Cheers
Nick
