Re : PETIT RC RACE "Europe Tour" - 3rd edition
Voici des photos que j'ai prise ? MAritime Raceway il y a 15 jours... /// Some pictures of Maritime Raceway venue 2 weeks ago:

Les stands / Pitting area

4 TV plasma dans les stands avec 4 cam?ras sur la piste. Dans les stands, 2 ?crans sont en direct avec la piste (2 angles diff?rents), ce qui vous permet de suivre la course depuis votre si?ge dans les stands. Les 2 autres ?crans sont destin?s ? vous informer de vos s?ries qui d?filent en continu (aucuns appels/ infos micro) puis ensuite, le d?roulement de la course...

Question Li-Po

Hi All,

Could someone just clarify the Li-Po situation for me please. I know Li-Po is being allowed subject to bringing your chassis up to the minimum weight but is there an approved Li-Po list? Is the event using the EFRA spec?

I run the large Trakpower 4800 saddles in my 501 and I would like to know if they will be allowed at the event. If they are not then I need to know to what spec I will be limited to when buying something else.

Cheers,
Jon.

From EFRA AGM minutes:
http://www.efra.ws/news/agm2008/Minu...ectrCommon.pdf

Quote:
The maximum case size is as follows: -
Length: 139.0mm.
Width: 47.0mm. (The max. width includes any side exit wires).
Height: 23.5mm.). ( additional chassis location protrusions are allowed)
Saddle-Pack cells are allowed, but must comply with the above dimensions. Saddle-Pack cells must
have a combined dimension of 139.0mm max when placed end to end.

From EFRA AGM minutes:
http://www.efra.ws/news/agm2008/Minu...ectrCommon.pdf

I would like to clarify all emails, MP et messages than I received about Lipo since some days.

1/ The first rule used in priority is the own rule of PETIT RC
2/ EFRA if needed

In the PETIT RC rule, I mentioned "lipo will be allowed using additional lead to reach the legal weight in all three classes" -

And that means that all are accepted (trakpower, the new lipo in 2009,etc. I don't want to restrict ANYBODY and all dimension are welcome.....the only restrictive is that you will use additional lead to reach the legal weight in 3 classes

This will be added in the thread of NEWS part of the race website. PLease have a look on this NEWS part regulary, all news are added inside this part. On PETIT RC website (homepage), when I add a message in, you have the thread in the latest messages part.

Cheers,

Nicolas i think along with bringing cars up to weight think you need to add LiPo's must be in hard cases!

Dont worry Lee - we wont let that happen...

At our meeting, we did emphasise this to the organisers and we have discussed having low-grip surfaces that will increase the fun as well as lap times.
