This is the information I have from various sources such as japanese websites and poking adam with a stick:
Saddle pack, mid motor shaft driven. purple alloy bits of course. They are right mean with information though - hence the cruel photo above! But all will be revealed soon.

After much stick prodding from Jimmy, I thought I'd tease him with a photo of the cars. Shame someone slipped them into the box just as the shutter opened....

I'm not going to disclose any more info... other than to say the cars in the box are 99% complete.

Photos will appear on the web fom HB/HPI... Hopefully I can do a piece with jimmy on the car in a Review type fashion in the near future...

Waddya say Jim-bob>?

Make sure to send me a photo of that new car mate! Can't believe the self control running that XX4 thing when you could have been letting me get a world exclusive instead!

Would be fantastic to review the HB mate and get the inside story at the same time - so hard with a lot of companies, but would make a great read I think.

I LOVE YOU ADAM

I looked into going, getting a cheap flight etc, but then I'd either have to go on public day (been to ECTS when the public were allowed - and it was terrible) or get press acreditation.. all sounded a bit mad did that so I will have to leave it till I am a little more 'pro'

Hehe, that picture made me remember preparing all the cars for the Nurnberg show... Can't believe it's been 5 years already!

You going to Nurnberg Adam? I'll stop by and check out the buggy. Any other interesting news in the HPI/HB booth?

Hi Kenny,
Yup almost 5 years since you left HPI.... I still have your 'prototype' GTi....

I will be at Nuremburg this year as always.. some cool stuff on the HPI/HB stand this year and a new stand to boot. Looks very swish...

Has the fuel proofing smell gone yet

Adam.

Can't wait to see the new HPI buggy. I always felt that HPI stuff was sort of in the 'toy' domain, not really for racing ! Not any more though, I recently bought a brand new Moore Speed Cyclone, and the build quality is fantastic, I hope the new buggy is as good.

My sole gripe with the cyclone is the complete lack of setup advice offered with the kit, bizzare for such a top quality item. I'd at least supply some kind of info with the buggy. I've being racing on and off for ages and setup still baffles me, the stuff Xray supply with their Tourers is superb.

Anyhow, if this isn't plastic fantastic, then i'll be seriously considering one simply on my experience of my first HPI kit !

Andy

Ignore him Adam, I love plastic! apparently HPI is now the more 'toy' brand, and HB the racing brand.

I have to confess, outside the hobby if you mention "hot bodies" you're gonna get some funny looks.

I tried searching it on Google once too.

Oh boy, it didn't bring up the HB website
