Bit of an update

I am keeping my Turnigy batterys.

The seller of the batterys said if they die because there low amps or something he will refund me. He said he tested this system and car and it will NEVER go up to 210 amps.

I wouldn't get a stainless screw kit as they are too soft, i.e. low tensile strength. Stainless stell fasteners are ok for rust prevention but stretch too easy leaving things loose and can round out the hex where you put the Allen key or driver.
Class A2 stainless steel is really soft, A4 is the highest and then only equivalent to normal class 8.8 fasteners. Capscrews should be high tensile, 10.9 as a minimum or ideally 12.9.

If you list down what sizes you need you can get high high tensile caps crews and stainless if you want from www.modelfixings.co.uk
This might actually work out cheaper than a specific kit, you can get the screws that you need/want and also get replacements as and when.

Just a thought.

Funny you should say that. I was just thinking the EXACT same thing.
I decided in the end not get the stainless screw kit and stick with the normal screws, some of the team drivers recommended me sticking with the normal screws as they are higher quality.

Thanks

enjoy your dinner an present, if u bored waiting take a look at randy pikes video on how to solder a rx8, i use a 80w iron for it makes it so simple, low watt irons dont heat the posts fast enough for my liking.

always wanted the one randy uses but when i looked for it it was 110v. i use a 10euro one i got from a store similar to b an q in spain. it lasts about 5 esc worth of soldering but at that price i jus go grab a new one when needed. think gs makes it for them
