Apologies Central Booking has not been the clearest as to how it works.

The meeting is Saturday AND Sunday and 2wd and 4wd will run across both days. Central Booking just shows the start date of the meeeting as 'Aug 06 2011'.

When you click 'book in' you see two rows for the same date, this is just to allow anyone that wants to run both classes to book into both classes at once.

All the other information regarding the meeting should be here

If there's anything else not clear, please shout!

Thanks again.

Think i have paid twice for 2wd thinking i had to pay for saturday and sunday, but on the list it shows me as doing 2wd and 4wd

Whoops!

Gary from the club will be able to refund the payment. Can you 'pm' me your email address and I will drop him a note.

Thanks,

Keith.

Anyone for camping Friday and/or Saturday, please PM or email me ([email protected]) before end of Wednesday.

To date, only have 1 camper on the Saturday night and 1 caravan.

If you know anyone who's coming who doesn't keep an eye on oOple, please pass this message on.

As for timings, the track outline is done and a team of us are working on the track on Friday afternoon/evening.

Gates will open from 7am on Saturday and Sunday for anyone travelling to the event and the racing timetable will be approx. 9am until 5pm on the Saturday and 9am until 4pm on the Sunday.

The coffee shop will be doing breakfast butties etc on both days from 7am until 9am too.

Thank you,

Keith.

Just received an email from Keith saying that its looking likely(but not definate) that most of the track surface will be astroturf.

I really hope so as i dont fancy running my cars around on bare concrete, tyres im not fussed about but my X6 hasnt got an undertray!

Im really looking forward to the racing format and its local so lets hope!

The total area where the track will be is around 36m x 24m. We have enough astroturf to cover around 75% of the total area so in theory all the track could all be astroturf depending how it is laid.

We may not use all the rolls of astroturf and the straight may be carpet but the majority will be covered concrete.

Hopefully, we can confirm the exact layout as we are continue to work on the track over the next few days.

Anyone who wants to help, feel free to PM me and come down Thursday afternoon/evening.

Keith.

Nice once Chris

There was a rumour about racing 'dying' off in the NE, this event was intended to do the opposite

In case anyone has any doubts - it is a copy/paste typo - Sunday is Qual Rd 5 followed by 3 legs of finals at the times posted above
