Damo it's a 20t pinion on whatever the stock spur is. I think I'll need to go down like 4 or 5 teeth to be honest, do you have anything that small? What ratio is that?

Sorry Dan, standard spur is 81, I think! The only pinions I can get are 12 and 13 or 24,25,26,28.

When I ran the mid last year it had a 23 on and still topped out too early down the straight with the 20 turn Saturn. So I was thinking of going bigger not smaller!??

23 pinion on 81 spur gives ratio of 9.30.

You know I have not got a clue how this works so I will just keep throwing bigger pinions at it until it is fast down the straight with a good amount of infield poke!

Fair do's, I guess I'll see how it goes then with this 20, assuming the motor comes tomorrow.

Well I FINALLY got my 19t motor for the 4wd this morning (picked up from sorting office), was posted on 13/10/07!!! Already got it in the car and it runs lovely. I cycled 4 packs of 2000's last night and all appear to charge and work OK. Can I do a race on 1500mah though as that's all I get out of them (to be expected).

So for the mid it's just down to the Postie on the wheels or trying desperatly to borrow some from someone there tonight.

The RC10 diff has fixed itself??? Maybe it will die under use but anyway that car is a runner as it has wheels on it

Chris, are you still coming tonight?

ProCat ready, sort of !! Just trying to sort out some tyres for it.

You'll easy be ok with those cells and that motor. Last year my 1700 SCE's just about managed it.
