OK ok ok, so I was a little off with my ETA. It looks like the GV2 Pros will be here on MONDAY, if not sooner here in the US. Does the UK have them yet??

Attached is the starting team setup that a few of us have been messing around with on the prototype buggies with much success.

Hey all. I've only had the car a whort time and have done really well at races here in the Missouri/Kansas Areas. We had a large regional race, had a chance to win coming down to the final main but ended up finishing 3rd. Ran the fall classic which saw serveral AE and Losi Drivers. Won the brushed stock class, finished 9th in the modified class. 5 in 4wd. Here are some pic of my car. I think I have tried every adjustment possible, so any questions I'd be happy to help.

Hi everyone, this is my first post here but I have followed oOple's reviews and event coverage for the last couple of years and it's been a great resource. I saw some conversation about the kit quality and plastic quality (shock mount screws threading directly into shock towers) and wanted to throw my experience into the hat. I have been running the SBv2 Pro for the last couple of weeks and I can tell you that this is the single best quality kit I have ever assembled (20+ years of racing beginning with the . All parts fit perfectly with ZERO need for fitting and sanding and the car practically fell together. I was concerned about the screws threading directly into the molded shock towers as well but it has been a non-issue. The track I am running on right now has been an arm, hub and shock tower eater (a jump of "high consequence") and while my Losi 2wd car has been through a couple sets of front arms in the last few weeks my SBv2 has not bent or broken a single part despite having been through the same types of crash. It has been very refreshing to know my 4wd car is the most durable in my stable.

The plastics quality and engineering of these kits are excellent .There are many shared parts, front and rear diff cases are the same, left and right arms are the same, slipper can be easliy adjusted without any disassembly and the car handles extremely well.

Now Dave G., get us USA drivers that GV2!

what about the plastic ? is it like the losi graphite stuff or rather like the losi EA3.
other academy cars where never equal to the asso / kyosho palstic. so i m a bit sceptical.
do we allready know how much the car will be? all academy cars were pretty cheap as far as i know

The plastic is very similar to the Losi EA3 composite and so for I have been impressed with the strenght of the car.

i hoped it would be graphite plastic (similar to losi graphite and kyosho tuning parts)
220 usd isn t that good. thats round 30 less than the asso. and with shipping and duty the difference isn t that big.
but thats the first price ... guess it will be possible to get it cheaper

I think Brian's car came from Horizon so he can trial it and get it out in the public eye as he drives for them .... might be wrong though

For once Roger's right

My car is the test pilot if you like, and so far iv'e been really impressed with it.
It's been run 4 times now (once a kiddy and the rest during the week) i'm becoming alot more settled with it now, and the handling is very predictable now, so far on back to back run's it's starting to come together, and produce compairable lap times to my XXXcr.

The cars next outing will be at Eden Park Raceway on Sunday, a stern test for any car.
