Shannow
What speedo have you got under that shell..is there plenty of room for fans?
From the pics it looks good from underneath as its a nice tight fit ,better than my proline RB5 shell.
I recently tried a Kyosho RB5 sword shell which was also a nice fit.

Thanks shannow, seems perfect fit ! If I had to buy a shell, I'll choose this one, or the Jconcept one...

I have seen you have the ezrun motor, do you have the ezrun esc too ?

Yep I use a 60Amp Ezrun ESC with a 5.5 6000 motor - This is pretty new for me (only raced once with this setup) but ran well and stayed cool using a 19 tooth pinion - I'm racing at Bury this weekend so that'll be a good test for it.

I've got the fan on the ESC and it does fit without any problems if it is on it's side.

Ok, I have the same esc, but with the 8.5T motor, running with the 21T pignion (86T spur)
I put the fan on the side because it touched the shell. No cooling problem.

Have you got replacement shocks on there Kedal, or just springs?

I've not really had any issues with the stock shocks despite hearing all the problems about the tops popping off etc, but I did find it a bit of a swine to control on a bumpy section of track last time at Bury - I've messed around with the suspension settings quite a bit since so hopefully it'll be better this time around but I was considering getting some Associated shocks.

shannow : It's not the original shocks, it's the Losi shocks, soooo good
See my little blog for some pics :

notme : the ezrun is really good, no problem with it for now.
The Xerun is a little different, and sensored. The Ezrun is sensorless.

Notme: I ran with the punch set to a minimum and had no probs on a really small (but grippy) twisty track - biggest issue was slowing down for the corners! This is my first brushless setup so I don't know enough to compare to other manufacturers - it ran faultlessly though and very smooth. Looking forward to racing at Bury this weekend and having enough space to let her rip :-)

Kedal: Wow, very soft shocks (look great!) and stock tyres! I'm guessing it was a pretty low grip surface you were running on.

shannow : the socks aren't that soft, it's only for the picture (losi oil grad 30 on it, and standard springs) I ran on a wet ground, high grip surface, no problem with the car, really stick to the ground.
I don't have other tyres, for now, the stock tyres are enough
