A post code would be NN12 8XA this puts you in Church Street, on the north side of the village of Silverstone, the track is at the back of the rec, on the north side of Church Street, almost where it meets West End.

Thanks for the info, I now have a map!

I have sent an email to the contact us section of the website, but I have not heard back?

There seems to be very little information around regarding this meeting when you consider it is the BRC Finals.

The members of the commitee are away on holiday. They should be back anytime soon.
Going by the size of the field they have i would have thought there is enough room for Caravans 'Don't quote me on that though'.

are they allowed on the cricket pitch then John? thought they would struggle with the usual regional allocation of space.

The cricket pitch becomes a football pitch this time of year!! The only problem will be if it rains as im pretty sure the football lot might moan!! But then it's down to the owner and he seemed to get on well with the car club.

Put it like this, most Nationals cater for between 10 and 20 caravans plus all the tents.

Although I would not expect to see 130 drivers at the BRC and therefore less caravans, I would have expected a bit more communication from the club seeing as there is the Stotfold weekend then the BRC next weekend and no info from the club.

Personally, as it is a 500 mile round trip with the caravan, I am staying down near the Stotfold track for the intervening week and then driving over to Silverstone on the Friday.

All the other clubs running Nationals this year have had a system for booking caravans in, I just don't want to turn up and then be told we can't stay and then have to go searching for a caravan site nearby.

Not too much to ask, is it???

Maybe the information is held somewhere else on this site or on the BRCA site, but I can't find it.

I know we are alloud to camp with the caravans as i rang phone number on the site and they said they where sorting the caravans and they said there was evening entertainment but i think they where driving and in a rush. So it was a very quickand brief convastation.
