Actually I think the yellow mini pins last longer with good grip than the spikes. The other reason is that there are no ripple type bumps at MBV, there are jumps and undulations but smooth ones so the extra suppleness of a minispike shape/sidewall is not needed so much.

Haggis - Belsten says I've got dibs on those pink BB's too

just trust the locals: indeed: Schum MiniPins Yellow in the rear and Staggered yellow in the front for 2WD
(And cut the first outer row on those rear tires)

4WD is a different matter. Again Schum MiniPins Yellow in the rear (First outer row cut) and on the front tires .... up to you to get a balanced car.
I used worn Minispikes or severely cut minipins.

Another option for 4wd is using a 4wd front mini-pin in the rear and using 2wd mini-pin in the front. Some use staggerds in the front of a 4wd to make it easier to drive.

In 2wd most use minipins in the rear and staggerds in the front, but there are some people who are daft enough to try to use 4wd front mini-pins as a 2wd rear tire

Any news on this yet? I'm bored at work and wondered how things are going?
