20mpg and synthetic oil makes it pretty expensive to run!!!!

Then wait until your gearbox decides to exit through your crankcases and deposits bits of gears throughout the rest of your engine. thousands of pounds to repair nowadays.

It will happen one day if you use the bike whether you have the upgraded gearbox or not.

That said, best bike I have ever ridden to put a smile on your face when you hit the powerband.

I nearly cried the first day I got it, one of the genuine Pepsi bikes delivered to my driveway by the dealer and within an hour I managed to catch the handlebars pulling it forward and you've guessed it. Sidestand popped up and over she went, delaer couldn't believe it when I phoned up and ordered a new left centre panel and belly pan.

I have to agree with your last sentence, hue grin factor that you never got bored of. Fortunately never had a problem with the gearbox, must have been lucky.

That looks good, KR or Steve Baker paint job would make it look really nice, Astralite wheels hey, I haven't seen a set of those in a while last set I saw were on a Hesketh Vampire!
