One of the buggy boys was talking the other day saying how good minipins are - but I'm sure he said 'blue' rather than 'yellow' - but don't quote me!
The majority of the track has now been covered in green indoor bowling green astro/carpet/mat. Less abrasive than the coir matting. The photo's really don't do the track justice. |

Hi Guys
The control tyre will be any Dboots tyre. You can bookin on the day, but pre-book is, as always cheaper. Web site all being well will be up later today with full details for the series. The last round on April 17th 2012 is also now confirmed... ![]() Cheers |

OK, so we have got to use dBoots on any driven wheel.
Can anyone advise which tread/compound is working well for both 2wd and 4wd? And can tyres be bought on the day? Thanks ![]() |

Tyres can be bought on the day at a discount.
If you book online then you will receive a discount code so you can get your tyres before the day. ![]() I'm sure one of the buggy drivers will be along shortly to confirm tread/compound. |

Hi Toby,
When i went a couple of weeks ago i found the Terrabytes worked best but i think they might have changed the carpet since then. Hopefully Reg will let us know because he went last night.

terrabyte seem the best or though from what i have seen all the Dboot tyres seem to work well. I found the A compound to be faster last night but there was really nothing in it!

Be nice if we could run mini pins, most will have these ready to go at this time of year. Any news on having to run control tyre at the sunday meetings??

does look as though there is a control tyre to the dboots tyres, should be tyres in stock on the day from the supporting shop or from the club, from what was said on tuesday it seems that the short course classes dont have control tyre as the dboots sct tyres arent available yet, but definetly a control tyre for the buggys, (not sure if only applied to driven wheels for the 2wd.s) best guy to ask is SPYRO (chris)

Lots of people have Mini pins already - unless the control tyres are heavily discounted, it seems an unnecessary additional expense to force people to run a particular tyre, especially when it is not something that most folk will have in their pit box already... |

failed argument and a myth that racers have an endless supply of brand new useable tyres in their pit box already or one set of life lasting yellow minipin tyres IMO ![]() |

Don't get so defensive!! It looks like you guys have done a great job of setting the track up and all the feedback I have read has been very positive
![]() It's your meeting and your rules. And you say dBoot control tyres. So dBoots it is - simples! |

Tuesday club nights are definitely 'run what you've brung' - as long as it's safe of course.
No control tyres, open motor choice -as long as it's electric...... |
