The first round of this championship is listed as Moto Arena on 24th April...

According to their website there is an indoor on-road Orion winter championship meeting?

please can an organiser confirm the meeting,

if its expected to run us outside whilst t/c racing is on inside then there will be problems with radio frequencies

Cheers,

Mark.

Where are the Bullseyes available? Need to get some pukka SC wheels and tyres rather than the 1/8th wheels I'm using.

The organisers are aware of this date clash and it was discussed at moto arena last night. Your concern was raised and i believe there will be an update in the next few days :-)

Thats great, glad someone took notice of the post

If its a case of not being able to run the SCT's at the venue for the given date and looks like it has been a booking mistake on the venues part, i suggest a venue change rather than a date change...

I know a fair few of our guys (including myself) have booked their work holidays around the dates for this and other BRCA championships, sure there will be other drivers in the same situation.

this is also considering Moto Arena have 2 meetings scheduled for the championship.

I understand a solution has been offered for the short course meeting but I am not sure if this solution is acceptable :-( Unfortunately, one of the organisers is away this week on a training course, so it is unlikely we will have an update before the weekend, sorry !

How do I book in for the EPR meeting on 15th May?

My Bullseyes arrived yesterday - remind me of the Losi Step Pins. Feel good but will see how they perform - and for appox £13 a pair mounted with foams who can argue with that!

Booking in is not open yet, as far as i know!

The Bullseyes are great from what i've heard from our club racers, loads of grip on Astro... only problem is they will have a fairly high wear rate as they are a lot softer than Kourse Kings...

I saw a set on tuesday that had done 2 x 5 minute races on a 4wd truck using Novak 4.5 550 set up and they were probably a third worn on a HoBao 4WD SCT,

probably last a lot better on 2WD as the trucks are a lot lighter.

For EPR, A1 Racing Club and NDOR i'm planning on fastrax Kourse Kings or Bullseyes... for the dirt tracks i guess it will be J concepts subcultures or similar Proline tyres... for Moto Arena i haven't got a clue if we are running indoor or out, think its either mixed carpet/tarmac or grass.

I'm moving from Hong Nor to a Losi 4x4 truck but haven't got it yet... nothing wrong with SCRT10, loved it but fancied a change and always been a Losi fan, hoping the Ten-SCTE kit tyres will work on our dirt tracks so i don't have to buy any!

heard a rumour that Schumacher might be releasing an SCT... fingers crossed they develop minispikes and minipins for SCT wheels, will be better suited for our UK tracks.

not really on topic of the thread matey,

for 4WD SCRT-10 you need the highest amp rated speedo you can afford, i was running a Fusion Exceed Comp 150A speedo with 540 size 6.5T motor and it was spiking at over 110 amps so was fine...

really you need to be running a 550 motor in a 4wd, 540 sizes get very hot with the current draw due to car weight and rotating mass of transmission, was running 2 fans on motor to keep it at decent warm running temp.

The 550 will give you more torque for less current draw, although will have to be geared differently to get the best out of it.
