Very handy you have replied to this thread actually, since you have put the awesome Tamiya shocks on your CR2, does that mean all CR2 owners will now ditch their Losi shocks for Tamiya ones, for the same reasons people tell us they have to have Losi shocks on an X6 to be the same as Ellis.............

At the end of the day, top drivers will run what ever parts (shocks or whatever) they need to make their car feel right for them and what they are most comfortable with.......regardless of what make of car they run.

Maybe we should start up some trading loops
Madrat owners buy up all the AE shocks from B4's and X6's, then X6/B4 owners buy all the Losi shocks from CR2/XXX owners which allows them to all go and buy Tamiya shocks !!!! LOL Everyone is happy!!!

YAY!!!!

I hope i'm still on topic here?
With all the new parts listed would B4FT front ends still be usable for spares?
If you have a B4FT donor car then would it be more cost effective to sell it then buy this full kit of just buy the existing conversion kit!

I'm looking forward to seeing the results this year with the X6 / Cougar and CR2 doing the rounds. Lets also not forget B4, XXXCR RB5 etc.

Now what would make me laugh is if the B4 wins at the Euros again..

For the guy up there about the front end: We will continue to make and sell the K 019 Conversion Kit. I think I said earlier that D.M.S. actually has another box of them on the way right now.

The new Kit contains the AE front end bits (and all the other stuff) that come from the "donor" car. It does not matter if you convert a B4 or build the new Kit -- with both you wind up with an X - 6 Squared.

The new K 021 Kit has some upgrade parts that you may not already have on your B4, but I still think that, if you already have a B4, Conversion is the less expensive route. If you want all new stuff, the Kit is the way to go.

And yes, we did make the X - 5 Entire Car for a time. We purchased xx-4 kits, tore them apart, and re-packaged what we needed from them to make the X - 5 Squared. When they stopped making xx-4s (for the second time) we had to stop the Entire Cars.

We then sold the "extra" parts as Remainder Kits. They are gone, but we still have a few of the bits, so if you are looking for an obscure xx-4 part, check the Losi Parts section of our store. We even have the instruction manuals with WE addendum and decal sheets.

Once I saw the "hype" thread, I was kind of expecting something new and exciting to meet the new competition from other mid-motor cars.

Therefore I was kind of disappointed when I saw that the news was not really anything that would affect me personally anyways, as I already have an X6 with all the bells and whistles...

But when I come to think of it, what this means to me as an "established" X-factory customer, is that this will meet the market's demand for a kit, and hopefully add to the existing business, and in the long run this means that Chazz and his (small) team will hopefully be around "forever" to bring out more improvements and better products in order to keep this car a winning one.

Keep up the good work, guys
