Yes, the referees were excellent. I was ref'd all day by Footy, and he did a great job. I think all of the finals were excellent to watch and race in. I had a good race with Chris Hirst and Mike Hudson (sorry for shouting Mike), the B final looked ace with Jeff , Stu Flamson, and Chris Stewart and Stephen Adams having a great race, and the A final was excellent aswell.

Sounds like a good meeting, sorry I could not be there guys

About the refs, I think I'll know the guys who did it, and basically they will have all done it on the day as well as racing. ANYONE can have a go at reff'ing, don't just expect these people to do it at every round. If you fancy having a go, why not help one of these guys at a round? Stand next to them, learn from them, then volunteer at the next round?

Anyone can ref, it just takes a bit of experience, but you don't get that without doing it. 'The refs' are 'The racers' they are the same people. Why don't you have a go next time? -- the 'you' in this last sentence doesn't refer to anyone in particular btw, it refers to everyone.

Just one question... how come we ran open practice for 2wd but not in 4wd? Not a complaint!

Open practice occurred for 2WD as it was easier for the organisers, who were still preparing things that morning, we only have so many hands to help. (I think I was outside the park putting up posters etc. for example when practice got underway).

It was discussed on the Saturday night that it was one of the shortcomings of the day, and so (with Chris Stewarts emphasis on fair practice for everyone), he controlled all of the timed practice on the Sunday for 4WD.

I can't believe no one has thanked me for running race control on the Saturday and helped on the Sunday.

You all should be ashamed of yourselves, next year I will do the race control again but I want FREE entry for 4wd.

Thats right FREE!!! entry and no one give me that credit crunch BS.

I enjoyed the weekend, apart from being sick little an amateur on Saturday night!!

Dam it I forgot to mention thanks folks for not remebering my name at the drivers breifing god I've caused enough greif over the years.

From this day onwards Mr S. Pearse will be known as Mr Purse and Mr G. North will be known as Mr G. Norton.

My name is David Pack also known as the stirrer as well as various other obscenities.

Grief...??? Thats not grief.... And i liked the spelling mistake. Added a nice touch. Not sure if calling northy graham norton is a good idea though.....

I also wouldn't take Pack seriously. We regularly Call him worse...

David, stay off the cans through the week cos it effects your typing... Or was it your Tampax finger getting in the way...???

As for sunday, wasn't the computer on automatic... There was this strange guy who used to race at our club standing there and playing with the microphone a bit mind...
