No probs. you should know by now if I'm gonna have a whinge ill do it on email, not here. We don't want any public bickering deterring new members or giving the wrong impression that there's any issues at the club. After all, the club needs BOTH classes racing to survive. Lose either TC's or buggies and the club will fail. See you Monday - ill book you in, you set up the jumps :-)

it's like the chicken and egg dilemma...............

if it hadn't been for the TCs keeping the Club running there would be no club for the Buggies to return to.....

Welcome to my world lol! I've just bought a B44.1 FT roller from corky but need everything else to go with it. Been racing my old TC on 2 ancient 2400mah sticks and 1 3300mah which probably total 300mah between them! Havent said that I managed to finish some races during my 2nd meet back so they must be cycling up still! Been in the street a few times with the lazer using a 12t motor to charge/discharge! Ive got an old Cougar manual if its any good to you lol

With all the old rc cars coming out of the cupboards we might have to have a vintage heat before long

Maybe over the coming weeks if someone could take some
Video footage of a couple of heats and maybes have a link from here to YouTube
It May help any new rc fans looking for a club who lives close by
That may have got new rc cars for Christmas.

I know it's been done before but some fresh 2013 footage may just tempt some fans who is maybe tempted to make a come back or for the total newbie.

Out of interest, why is this club not listed for all to see in the club sub forums with the others?

Hi Richie

I think this is something the club is going to try and sort over the coming months.

Unfortunately the club forums need to be set up by Jimmy - oople admin - I've given up asking him. He promised he would then never did despite chasing him several times. A vintage heat would be interesting. My XXXS would just about qualify as vintage? And jumps on the straight??? I do draw the line there Gary :-(. Marshals get hurt when jumps are too fast and more importantly my TC would never get over them :-p

Noticed your messages on his wall mate so sent another PM myself as I didn't find the club first time round so potential new members may miss it without a headed sub forum. Would be good to have, as basic info that newbies and born agains need such as Personal transponder compatibility info and other basics could be clearly posted and stickied for all to see

Hi mate. Everyone is welcome to come along for a chat and to race.
We race indoors on a wooden floor so your drift wheels/tyres will not work however due to the low grip of the floor, any drifting you have done will put you in good stead for racing with schmacher minipin tyres on your car.
Pop along with your cars, someone will be able to lend you some wheels and used tyres for a night so you can see what you make of it before comitting to anything.
First night is free however for insurance purposes after your first night you'd need to join either the club or at least the BRCA if you want to come back (which you will!) to continue racing weekly.

We have a new section under "CLUB TALK" so keep an eye there for what's going on as I'm expecting this thread to tail off now. Cheers
Mark

Just a quick mention on here - we're still racing every monday

Where has everyone got to. We’re still getting decent numbers but with lots of new racers making up the numbers - a good thing but would be nice to see some old faces back too. Anyone wondering why no updates on here - well we have our own section in Club Talk now so thate where the weekly reports appear - dont go thinking cos this hasn't been updated that we're not still going!!!!
