same here, I'm afraid.
I've had it with the fixed, warped GB eating idlers at a steady pace.
My MCS goes into the fridge untill i receive a new GB. Back to 4WD i guess.

I've done two idlers this week.
But yep mine has been retiered to the shelf in the garage, it's not worth running it until it's sorted.

Hi all,

It seems the new gearbox is ready to hit the track.

I will start shipping this week and have contacted all of you who have requested one.

But I am still missing quite a few, so please if you have an MCS and have not contacted me yet, get in touch.

Best Regards

Fabien

yup, but heared from more then one person that drove both cars that they prefered the MCS.
Almost everytime they switched to the Vega because of the Gearbox-problems of the MCS ... which will be classified as history in the next days as Fabs is sending out the new updated GB's.

I have to say the MCS is the best car i have driven, and i have had a few!
I can lap it just as fast as my 4WD.

Yeah the gearboxes have been going out slowly but surely. I have 1hr+ work on each so can't really send more than 2 a day (it kills my back too doing that).

Great news Fabs!

When do you think mine will be with nick?
Also what do you want me to do about the payment for the saddle configuration parts? Can you drop me a PM buddy?

I can't wait to get the MCS back on the track!!

Deburr so it doesn't get too tight when the motor plate is tightened, ream the bores for the bearings and the idler gear shafts, make sure there is axial play on the idler gears when the gearbox is closed, grind a little bit the part that interlocks with the T-Plate.
