Anyone know if there will be a shop there tomorrow?

The ballistic greens are looking a tad worn

Green spikes or pins? I think I have both, new in packs, rears atleast. Although Ive had some wine and I haven't had a drink since new year so memory may be a bit corrupt... hhhmmm.

I have just text Jez from Model Torque so I may have an answer on HIS shop soon. I am hoping he is bringing it so you don't have to rely on my memory...

Infact - im looking for the tires now....

Guys I have a box of tires from last summer. It has in it 4wd fronts and rears, some yellow Mini spikes, some BB green minispikes. I will bring it with me incase of no shop, all for sale at RRP as I am going to need to replace these for the first national.

Has been a good day, I like the track changes that have been done - they require some thought rather than horsepower.

Hope the heating comes through soon

aye, a good turnout considering the weather, i thought the new features worked well, especially liked the new exit from the jump - the doubles caught a few people out though.

The heating should be there around may/june all being well, chris!

Yeh, trucks rock. Need to race them more, and need to find something which doesn't wear like Yellow Min's do.... perhaps blue Mini's but im wondering of there is something better than that. Baz is getting some PL Bowties and they may do it - but wear rate is likely to be fast again.

Not quite the same but i have bowties on the rc18t and they seem to wear alright actually, quite chunky arent and broad a block so i reckon they'd be reet, except maybe for the grass bits! What fronts though? staggers? The blues were good on the astro bits but as the grass wore they were lacking grip, and had limited steering on the concrete.

i used to use some proline lugnuts on the rear of my XXXT - the wear on those was negligible, and the grip was fantastic, especially on the astro...mnd you, the motors were much tamer and the cells less powerful, but the tyres were still great.

and always yellow stagger ribs on the front....

Guys this is off the subject but is there anywere in the uk that sell the D4 parts. After all i think its only right we stick to buying our RC material in the uk as this will keep all of our brilliant model shops in buisness

Track layout was very good yesterday, a nice change from the normal which required some thoughtful lines to be quick. only thing i would say which needs looking at is the bricks in the grass need secureing properly, as when the ground got softer they started to become slightly loose.

good days racing!
