It goes straight in the X6 across the back. The X5 needs a bit of work to make it fit, there are some threads on 4wdrc.com about it with some pics on how it can be done.

Just thought I would post up on here, yes it was for a B4, and the pack fitted in without modifications, although you may need to redo your battery wires, as the connections for the battery are at one end of it.

It was running at 3.00A when it hit 8.4 volts then reduced to less than 1.0A pretty quickly. After this the voltage on the charger seemed to suddenly go up to 9.0v so I am unsure of what I did wrong..(apart from buy the balancer).

I was only going to use it this time without the balancer, as I could afford one this month! Damn

Mark have to say either your charger was faulty or not set to lipo mode
amps should be allot lower when 8.4 volt is seem as in well under 1 amp on the display, i have a robitronics and its works ok.
the balancer is not a necesity but it is a safer way due to the added saftey features of the fact it will not allow over charge or undercharge.
be intersting to see the result of your charger test from the manufatcures.

even so, good on Trakpower leaders in technology and leaders in customer support!

treat yourself to a balancer

Mark,

How can you 100% say it was Marks charger?

You never know..it could have been the LiPo.

could have but............................. the charger should know the pack is near 8.4 and slow the charge rate, dont see how the lipo would jump over 8.4 that quick and the charger not see it, never seen any cell voltage jump that quick.
