Yep same here mate, went from the Dogfighter 834? through to the works 91 - 93 - YZ10, and got kitted out with an MR4BX when I started back doing 10th offroad back in 2007....

Wished I'd kept all 5 now!!

i have an original XX in the my shed, complete with hydradrive the lot!! Even has one of those huge nylon wings that were the rage!

Corrally / Accociated RC12i for me, from around 1989/90. Went all the way from F3 to F1 at the 1/12th scale nationals over 2 seasons without breaking or even adjusting it!

Chucked my dummy out the pram and retired from 1/12th when I got onto the top heat at Nantwich national and got lapped 4 times by the late great Phil Davies!

Back in them days you HAD to be a team driver to get the good motors and cells to compete, we are lucky now that off the shelf stuff is all ballistic!

I sold my Tamiya bruiser for £400 which I miss.

I sold my near mint Tamiya rough rider (pre-rerelease) for £400 which I really regretted at the time as it was lovely.

I sold a brand new built and never run CAT XLS with a new original shell (it had a painted one too) for a mere £150!!!! a couple of years ago, which was a bit mental.

I regret selling my Tamiya Durga DB01 as it was the car I got my F2 with - dogbones all round!

Lastly I sold one of my greatest ever new-in-box kits - another unbuilt CAT XLS. Which I feel pretty bad about as I could never ever afford another one or justify it.

I sold my original Cougar about 10 years ago, one of these days i'll hopefully spot it on ebay and return it home...

My other regret was my optima mid, it "was" at my parents, and when i asked where it was they told me they'd binned it years ago during a clearout... i cried a little inside

Talking :(

Firstly my Atomic Carbon CR2 SE... It went to a really good home but damn I miss that thing...secondly my Cat SX...When I was a kid and racing Tamiya everybody wanted a Cat...I grew up, could afford one and bought it as my 'coming back to the sport' buggy...its gone now and I wish I 'd have kept it just for nostalgias sake...I try not to get too attached to material things but RC is a cruel mistress

Can't argue with that mate, really good deal it was. We start our Indoor Championship this Sunday and the Cougar shall be going all guns blazing.

At least it's been raced proper and so forth.

Ah well - good luck

Get some pics up in the Schumacher section..

As for this topic. Another car I wish I'd kept, the Schumacher ProCat I purchased from Chris Wilko from Solent Models.

To be quite honest I wish I'd kept all my old cars, my first ever car was a Kyosho Raider, then I had a Lazer ZX, then it was an Optima Mid Custom Special. My first Schumacher car was a Top Cat then a Pro Cat, I flirted with 1/8th scale nitro after that with a Turbo Burns and a Mugen Super Sport. I loved all these cars.

My new in box yokomo mr4bx that I found reduced in a model shop to £149.99. I wish they would rerelease it as an mr4bx worlds lipo edition with big bore x shocks. I may just take out a bank loan and get one.

I have two National titles. I wish I'd kept the cars, complete...

I saw in Lostallo, Switzerland all the cars owned by Garibaldi. He always ended the season by storing his cars COMPLETE, for later display... costly but really cool!
