Ill try to answer this but i have said it elsewhere on the forum.

Nortech is a Uk based company, a family run firm, they are known for bling in the rc world and also the fab nortech whities. They have collaborated with the guys at piespeed to create a new car that seems to be generating quite a lot of interest it is called PII. It will be revolutionary im sure and i think there will be some spy shots available anyday

Nearly Lee

Seeing as you have let the cat out of the bag, I am helping a little with the design of the Toe Racing car that is still in prototype form.

They were hoping to have a prototype ready for the Neo, but I don't think it's going to happen. I think they are still going to support Team oOple at the Neo though!

Vinny you need to consult the manual before doing anything else to figure out where those o-rings live that you had halfway up the shock bodies. If they are the ones that go in the shock tops this will be the reason you had no oil.
i assume that is for your lazer??

so surely if your such a good racer and not just a basher and been racing 4 years then why do you make these mistakes? if this is what happens on a lazer then whats gonna happen if you spend £350+ on a true race car?

im sure its not worth it? maybe if you stick with the lazer, wait until you have learnt a lot more, then progress? you dont even own allen wrenches, [see this post] and these will be almost essential with an s500 or an aero.

im not trying to get at you, just think that it is a bit of a waste of money

hi vinny.do you not think that it would be better to concentrate on improving your driving ability off road first before spending big bucks on the latest car?not saying your driving isnt good, just i think you would benefit more by spending a little time on your current car, trying different things on it.ive had many cars in the past as soon as they hit the shops(egress,trx1,explosion etc etc)and not one of them made me any better.stick with the rb5 for now, youll love outdoors with it.you will always get people saying their car is better than all else.also consider spares availability when choosing;dont want to break it in round 1 and have to go home early unless one of the top guys will lend you a part?

latest gear doesnt make you fast. you have to learn, gain experience.. work on the cars you have. what are you gonna do once you buy an aero? have one crash [maybe not your fault] break it and not have the spares to fix it and its gonna sit on a shelf doing nothing until those parts come, then your gonna do the exact same thing again and you will get frustrated and sell it.
in my last post i didnt just say about tools. how are you going to be faster with shocks without any oil in them?
it is the same with every car, you have to gain experience on and off the track, the best or newest car with the latest electrics wont just make you quick.

but anyway back to the original question, i would take the aero for now as it is actually released and is the only one really seen on the track.

hope ive helped

Its his money let him spend it how he wants we can all give him good advice and he may listen to it or not its up to him. Aero will be pleased if he buys one I dont think they will mind if it is for bashing or racing as long as they sell them. I personaly would keep the car you have got now Vinny and wait for the Serpent not because it is a better car but you will have those six months until it is released to learn the basics like shock building and setups. I have been racing 20 years and am still trying to learn how to build skocks properly (ehh Carl). Any way thats my 2p worth, sorry Col if this is not to your standards I dont do the queens english I do Lancashire english.

The race place will be stocking parts, but seriously though i would think twice, even jez is trying to put you off and he owns a shop. Please listen to what people say, faster gear will not improve your driving it will only highlight your faults

Do you want to look a tit when you turn up with your shiney new gear and get blown away or put it in the wall.

Stick with what you have and buy one piece at a time and identify what will make you quicker.

I saw you on sunday and you were using some random tyres, smoked at least 1 speedo, and seemed to struggle when it came to setup. (Everytime you came back from a run we got high)

Learn to walk before you run.

seriously though Vinny, everyone is just trying to help, I've been in similar positions though when I was younger and went ahead and bought the fancy kit, and tho it didn't make me quicker it didn't make me slower either, so do what you want to do!

If you have an rb5, you can use that when the fancy car breaks anyway!
