I bought a speed passion 2.0 lrp and a 7.5t v2 speed sensored motor 2nd hand for £100 for my madrat and I am impressed with how smooth it is. The acceleration is very smooth and progressive.

I have the settings on smooth and the timing is set quite low and is fast enough for me even with a cheap lipo 20c rating.

Goodness knows how fast it would go if I wound it up and put a higher rating battery in it.

Have to be careful though, I already have gone through an idler gear in the Rat due to the high power and me having the slipper set a bit too tight.

Due to Market values SV withdrawn from sale. It'll go on the shelf.

Re Speed Passion I am still trying to find out info about the potential replacement first.

Default results

Just wandering why I am not down for 4wd as I competed in the first 3 rounds?

I had to leave early due to family commitments so did not compete in the finals.

I agree with Simon and many others, I really like the hump as it creates a bit of contrast in the track. To drive it well you have to be controlled and not just attack it. People have shown it can be rolled or jumped and even if you roll it a bit too fast a blip of throttle after you have left the lip usually stops a forward roll.

More generally I think the track is pretty good. I like the fact that it is rough in some areas (I go to Newbury for touring car) as it adds to the challenge. Some of the recent widening has helped clean overtaking, particularly with the back markers who I have to say have all been very courteous lately, thanks Gents. It does seem that the line changes have generally made it faster and more flowing which is good to a point but I personally wouldn't want it to become too simple and just a flat out blast.

Overall a big thumbs up form me, I'm really enjoying TORCH at the moment. The challenge of the new track, the 22 and some good competition is great.
