Do you have anymore info on this as ive got to the point where ive stripped the
Diff and still cant see why its clicking away!

Hi Mate,

Sorry no extra info as my problem just seemed to be a gear mesh problem. I am not sure when the next club meeting is but I could ask some of the guys there if you still need help but I dont think its for two weeks.

Wish I could be of more use but I am still learning all this stuff at the moment.

its ok i believe my problem is with the transmission shims.

excellent info in this thread, B4.1 here and it developed the same noise, the motor had moved a tiny bit; increased the distance between spur and pinion and noise went away.
