Best tell all the people who have bought the new FF03 chassis too, as it uses the same gearbox and internals mounted around other way.

I've broken my 2nd idle gear yesterday after 3 race on clay dusty low traction track with a 9.5LRP X11

I want to test the RB5"SP" idle gear during this summer

One of my buddies is currently running that gear right now. I also think the HPI blitz gear works as well.

Can either retailer ship to the USA (when top shafts and idler gears from RW are finished)?

Just spoke to Neil, apparently the moulded ones are 0.2mm smaller in diameter than they should be, using 48d.p. tooth profile. I shall trial fit a proper one tomorrow hopefully, and as long as it doesn't bind, a full size one will be made, if it does cause a bind, an identical one of the Tamiya will be made.

A few will be out by the weekend, then more next week.

Steve, are you saying the new RPM ones are smaller than they should be or the Tamiya ones are smaller than they should be ?

I thought RPM were machining the new idlers not moulding, so i presume the moulded Tamiya ones are theoretically too small and RPM have made their machined ones slightly bigger which you are trying out ?

Sorry, just trying to clarify your statement

The Tamiya ones are 0.2mm small than they should be with the amount of teeth they have. Whether they have done this on purpose (chopped the tops of the teeth off to give more 'grime' clearance) or shrinkage, I don't know.

RW are going to send me a 'proper' size one to test fit into my gearbox, and go from there, he should in theory, be machining them on Thursday.

I checked my idle gear. No teeth missing, but the teeth are worn out...
Top gear has eaten it, ha ha
Diff gear looks fine though.
Replaced both of course.
