Any other photos? It seems our supply stopped after the first day of practice, I think due to the slow upload rate? That or excessive alcohol consumption

Thanks Ashley,
I have edited the quote out of your post simply because the results take up so much space and makes the forum threads more difficult to read. But thanks for your comments, it's nice to know that the information is helpful to people and hopefully over the coming months there will be much more to come ![]()

I believe Hupo is running the tamiya and he has qualified 7th in 4wd.
Not sure how many other Tamiyas are out there. As far as 4wd there seemed to be some very competitive racing, and although the boys were getting some quick laps in I think they had technical difficulties also? I'm pretty sure there were some breakages. Wishing them all lots of luck in the finals anyway.

Sure neil will let us know what happened, but I think if he had driven at 90% he would have made the A. To get pole at a track like that you had to 'do the quad' and we don't generally have jumps like that over here. That jump sounded like it was the reason for many breaks.

Isn't that Suzuki guy not driving for Tamiya ?
I'm also curious what the Kyosho's did, especially the 2WD. I saw Kyosho's Mark Pavidis on the entry list. I guess he would have ran a ZX5 and the new RB5. |

I could be wrong, but as far as I remember from watching the finals last night Pavidis finished last in the D final with his RB5.
Now - if this was a nitro car, there would already be a bunch of storys floating around, and an interview with pavidis, giving 'his side' of why he didn't TQ and win with the new car. ![]() As it is, I think people can understand a lot of top racers had breaks on that track. |
