I went in and got told to go home, so i bought beer and food

Well I had the day off till I start my new job the week after next. My little girls's school closed and although she's 4 1/2, this is the first real large amount of snow we have seen down here since she was born. So, by 9am we were in the garden making her first snowman. Funny thing was she was so excited she didnt feel the cold in her little hands, even though at the same time mine were black with frost bite just about to fall off LOL.

We had quite a lot yesterday, but it just hung about / melted then froze by last night. Cue Emily driving in major ice for the first time EVER. I tried to do a U-turn in the street... then realised I was going majorly sideways. Scary stuff...

The amazingly intelligent people at school don't bother to grit the actual car park, just the footpaths around it. Now THAT is fun. Not!

Its just absoloutely freezing today.
