Yeah man, cheesy donkeys ROCK!

Cheers fellas, I think we'll maybe give it a go then. Might need to bug a few of you for advice on set up etc depending on the track, but looking forward to it now.

Will we need to book before or do we turn up on the day? Also, we've literally only been at it a couple of weeks so haven't joined the BRCA yet, does that mean we wont be able to register or can we join that also on the day?

I don't think you can, it's a national thing. I also believe you MUST be a member to race at regionals.

A regional rep or the BRCA direct can confirm though.

A Nice mix of slippy and carpet nice flowing jumps... not on the apex of corners...

York tracks are usually pretty sweet in the small confines of the hall. Although the constant colour change of carpet smacks my eyes.... they're getting old now!!!!

Is the new place any bigger...?

I think its smaller actually, but there were people pitting in there too - if we are moved out of the hall for pitting then it would be big

Are yellow mini-pins the tyre of choice here?

yup. Mini-spikes will also work but will be the ultimately slower tire

Peter will be there with his shop - he comes to all the York races and north east regionals. I'll be buying some tyres also, so you aren't alone.

Just got back from the regional, bit later than I expected but still happy. I was a bit worried as to what the track was going to be like, but it was absolutely brilliant, slippy was just enough I feel and I really liked the track, excellent work lads

I agree, for the space available and the temporary location the track was excellent, well done to all involved!

That's 15 mins work for me.

I've seen some of Jimmy's pics already, I can tell you he has some really scary stuff (and some cool car shots to boot).
