Default side by side 2wd and 4wd

I read that 2wd and 4wd are going to be run all through the day unlike the morning/afternoon setup form last time. I was planning on running both classesd but find it pretty difficult to change my driving style from 4wd to 2wd heat to heat. Any chance of changing your mind, or I might have to stick to 1 class?

Cheers

Ben

Should be enough time before each run to do a couple of laps just to get used to it again - it's how the American's run all their big races.

Thing with doing it how they did last time, is for anyone doing one class it's a really short day and kind of takes the fun out of it?

thats basicly what i would have said nick thanks

we will be trying to give you all 40/50 mins per round for charging so 3/5mins between heats should be enough time to get used to each car

hope so anyway i will post some pics tomorrow of the track if anybody wants to come and help i will be there from 9.30am (free practice will be avalible after we have finished for a while)

thanks Andy

'Twill indeed, i've just got to get the cable at lunch for my camera

Thanks again to Andy, Rob and everyone that built the track, great work - one of the best yet and that was without a cross-over!

Thanks to Lee for lending me the gear again, and thanks to Rob for Charging for me all day and sorting the Tyres

Was the best track yet, no doubt. Amazing fun. I broke out and we had to go home anyway (family get together in the evening) but was amazing.

Thanks everyone. Sorry to all marshals having to sort me out. I am normally a bit of a special driver but my front diff was slipping all meeting so was 2wd, hence even worse than usual.

Hey Nick not a problem mate.

It still shocks me how you turn up after doing nothing for 6 months and end up just half a second slower than Pidge and also winning the 3rd leg, quality.

Thanks for all the positive comments chaps.

The track was very cool and very satisfiying to drive. The next one will be better still with even more features!!

Andy failed to mention that he personally is going to purchase an AMB system in the next week or so. This will be soooo much better for the club long term and just make race days easier to manage. This stuff is not cheap so all the members thank Andy for making this decision.

Provisionally the next Sunday meeting will be on the 22nd February, we may revert back to running the seperate classes am/pm to allow more time and drivers to do both. (charging, repair time etc...)

Steve the burger van man has been booked as well for this one.

More details will be posted soon.

RR.
