I have made a little progress today.

Found suitable fixings for the front shocks so they could attach to the suspension arms.

Fixed up rest of the electrics including a ko propo ps2000 FET servo and sub c saddle pack. I also fixed the eccentric diff housings. The front belt has been set a little tighter than the rear.

I have also temporarily fixed the undertray though the shell is going to be a little difficult as there are no cut lines. Undertray was hastily cut but I will smoothen this out later. The wing is not the original one but a nice alternative I think.

Transmission feels very smooth. I suspect gearing will be similar to the yz10?

Right! All finished now!

Using the net as reference I managed to cut the body to fit! I used different pictures to get an idea of the cut lines. It wasn't very difficult.

I had the Adonis repro decals so used what I can for the shell. I think the end result is really impressive! However, I have been working on getting some repro intruder decals printed, and I'm just waiting on some samples to determine the quality.

So stay tuned!

And the paint style really makes it POP in a vintage way.

Yeah I've done the same too...I'm sure I could use them for a yz10!

Naushad I prey if you get this stunning machine onto a race track that someone has a GoPro HD or a DSLR camera handy to snap some in action video or snaps.
That would make the risk of damage in any way worth it.

I was lucky to have one back in the day, Running in the RRCi Standard series i can remember making many A finals with it, Exeter, Worksop and the finals at Oswestry in one year that helped me pick up a deal with AGR motors at the time. Amazing car and wish i kept it. only have the mag pictures from the race meetings. I ran Yok wheel adapters but also made laydown shock towers from FRP. Wish i never sold it.
