My guess is that a 12th scale with tall gearing, low wind b/l, traction compound, no gurney would win (on a flat asphalt surface).
Touring cars and buggies would be pretty close I reckon. Assuming top speed is the decisive factor. And only EFRA (except Pro10) classes being legal.
