After trying all the methods, oven/ boil and acetone the latter wins hands down for me. Get proper acetone and the glue melts in a few days , cut the tyre round the rim to save the insert pop them in a sealed container and you will not look back.

Agree! For me by far the easiest way to remove them and love the smell of acetone
