Default Lunsford/RPM Ball cups to fit 3racing Ti ball studs

(I thought the rctech TRF501x forum might be able to answer this question...but mention DB01 and you are wearing H.P's invisibility cloak )

I've ordered the 3racing 501x Ti Ball Stud set (for my Durga)....
do the long shank rod ends (RPM ball cups) fit ? or what about Lunsford Punisher Ball cups ... the 3racing ball studs measure 4.75mm dia... anyone ?

I must be having a brain fart because im asking a stupid question. I just installed a hitec HS-625mg super torque servo and when i turn the wheel on my radio it is steering in the opposite direction that it should. I know that i have fixed this before but just looking for some answers to help me. Thanks.

Check the servo reversing on your transmitter. That should take care of it.

You just have to reverse the steering channel on your radio. not sure which one you have - could be either a micro switch or a software switch - but all radios have them.

The only thing that i have on my radio is the usual steering trim which obviously wont help. Im pretty sure if i flip the actual servo upside down it would all be fixed, but as you know the steering are would then be off centered. I guess i will be able to figure it out tomorrow when im completely clear headed and not sipping on a few brews. Thanks guys.

I've only ever seen one radio without servo reverse - and that was a very old futaba stick radio, where you could turn the sticks around to acheive the same effect.

What transmitter is it exactly? if it's switches they are usually small and hidden, have a look on the back maybe? There has to be a way to reverse the servos - just has to be!

Like Jimmy said, it could either be something you change in the menu or a small, indented switch somewhere on the radio. Let us know which model of radio you have and I'm sure someone on here can help you get the servo direction sorted out.

can 4.8mm ball cups be used effectively with 4.75mm ball studs ? anyone tried this combo ?

Hey thanks a lot Jimmy and Mtn Bkr for your help. The problem was right in the menu of my radio, which you guys had mentioned. All i had to do was flick the switch to the R position in my steering menu. You guys are awesome and very helpful. Keep up the great and informative site you got going Jimmy. We all love it. Thanks again and sorry for my delayed response, as my computer timed out last night, but i was able to fix the problem about 10 minutes after your suggestions. A.J.

I like the blue. Looks very nice. I went with the box art paint scheme. Bright red and outlaw black. I will have pics up here soon that will be taken with my cell phone camera unfortunately.

When you get the 3Racing ballstuds... take them out of the jiffy bag and put straight in the bin, they are soft and, well, just good for the bin. 3Racing make some good stuff, but in the same breath make some total junk.... these are junk.

Although I find no problems with the Tamiya stock stuff....

Default How are your belts holding up?

501X and DB01 owners,
How is the wear rate on your belts? I'm considering getting a Durga but I've seen a buddy with some pretty frayed belts after a few runs of his 501X, so that got me worried.
