Very cool site PB. All I would suggest is to integrate the simpleviewer gallery into the website rather than have it it by itself.

Cracking site! You just inspired me to go do some urban photography... when i get chance.

I think i'll ring the camera shop today and ask for some info on the 20D, like shutter count and such, see how good a deal it really is. About lenses being more important, i agree they are but its annoying when there usually more expensive than the camera

The thing to remember about lenses is they dont get old like a camera. In 5-6 years time the camera will be outdated the lens wont. It might have a newer slightly quicker version out but it will still be usable. They also hold their resale value quite well, especially L spec glass.

Your right mole, but i still cant afford them in the first place

I can see that your images are immensly sharp yet mine arnt because of the lens im using (mainly the canon kit lens, doh!), that picture i have just posted above seems totally unsharp compared to most of your images.

Im really getting into this now, i need that 20D

I thought I would post up a few of these. They are the other shots I took for the trakpower competition.

Well following my story on the competition thread about falling out of a tree in an attempt to get photos, I thought I'd share what rubbish I managed to get in my garden today.

I will only enter one of these in the competition if their are no good sunsets between now and comp close, as I know these are no-where near good enough.

Mole: Your photographs are stunning. I have no doubt you have won this competition already. You certainly have my vote - great work you have done.

I just got really lucky and had a pretty good sunset on the first night of the competition and somewhere already in mind to go. I have a load more idea's but I dont know if I could get the location/weather in time.

Mole, im pretty sure its not got much to do with luck Im still begging for a good sky at some point in the next few days but im not counting on it. But either way, i know my photos wont turn out half as good as yours even with a super amazing dramatic sunset ect ect. Good luck.

Just over a year ago I was asked by a couple of friends if I'd do their wedding pictures - as a paying job! I did a bit of reading around on the matter, became completely overwhelmed and tried to convince them there were far better options around. People shots are simply not my thing.

The bride-to-be was ace, saying that there was a short list of family groups/formals she wanted burning onto CD and the rest of the time I was free to do as I pleased, whether that was socialising, taking candids, chasing bridesmaids, whatever. It put my mind at rest and I agreed.

Fast forward 12 months and, on top of the family group shots, I had enough material to 'storyboard' the day from first coffee to first dance. This is currently being printed on 16" square canvas to be delivered as a bonus along with their photo CD...
