Im well happy, considering i dont do any club races, or any events at all in a year to make the b final against some good drivers im quite happy. Yes im still not as quick as i want to be as the cars not as planted as it should be but ive got a few events to go to find the set up and as it was the only kyosho 4wd there so didnt embarrass myself at all.

Anyone got an LA20 and a pair of front knuckle arms that they are willing to sell me, as im now out.

Do you need a new set of LA-20 or is a used set fine as well?

I have a question for you James! do you know if the fibre lyte ZX-S battery braces have the same lenght as the original LA-25 battery braces? Actually the main question is, Can the fibre lyte ZX-S battery braces being used on the Lazer ZX / ZX-R?

Cheers mate!

There was a Lazer in the A final (Matt Reuben) and one in the C final (Niall Brennan). But your car did go well.

Cheers, forgot about Chris as well oops. Good news that I wasnt the only one there. Still cheers for the compliments, now just need to get the set up right and figure out how to set the slipper as i melted the spur in the final (nightmare pulling it of last night) so obviously didnt set it correctly.

Mate not bothered so long as the pivot poles are straight.

The battery braces and guess you mean the cf plate that sits ontop of the lipo and holds the lipo to the chassis and ifyes then the zxs had two lengths, so would advise measuring the length you want and let me know and can email you a picture so you can get that version made as fibrelyte have made both versions for me and Iso

there are 2 types of battery braces for the zxs

ZXS as on the fibrelyte homepage and yes they have the same lenght as the zxr so they fit i have them and use them have an picture somewhere.

then there are the brace for the evo aka Spidey since they look a little like a web the evo have shorter distance between the holes so the bar itself is shorter and does not fit the zxr

Hi James,
I have a 2ea front and 2ea rear used pivot poles for you! Not new but straight....
Do you need the 4 ea carrier hub pins as well?
PM me with your address and I will ship them to you mate!
Regarding the cf plates (stopper plates), the length of the la-25 small stopper plate is 93mm and the space between the 2 wholes (center to center) is 80mm......

Henrik, So the ZX-S battery braces listed on the Fibre lyte website are the correct ones? There is only 1 kind of battery brace listed on the website....

Sorry, I didn't reply to this earlier.
The braces listed are for the ZX-R and S however the ZX-S chassis shown is drilled for lipos so the post holes are closer together. They do a short strap too.
Blame Instone!

Not true, dont blame me, blame Kyosho as the chassis in the ZXS section on the fibrelyte website is an exact three piece variant, as they made several versions. I had a couple and preferred the one listed. That is why Kyosho made two size battery holders and yes is confusing.

The zxs chassi has long baterybars due to zxr/zx has long batterybars due to the
Old kyosho saddlepack remember those red and yellow big saddlepacks. The chassi on the fibrelyte is an zx-s evo so thats why the short batterybars

Default Steering plates

Ive noticed that people use the zx steering plate instead of the angled zxr steering plate. Please can anyone tell me how the zx and zxr plate change the cars handling?

I found the zx plate was much easier to get the car dialed, zero bumpsteer helped but with the angled one it made the car harder to work with and had issues turning into corners. Try it and work out which one suits you.
