And Finns Henry Salmén and Marcus Hendricksson did the same, missed their marshalling turn and will lose best points from qualifying tomorrow.

How do people forget to marshall? Or is it because the heats are running in a strange order?? Seems like a poor excuse for losing your best time though really...

yes its because of the staggered heats..its easy to forget,im guesing that because its the finnish lads that are forgetting they may just be wildcard drivers who are unfamiliar with how it works?

Dunno, but Dave G might have a point there. We have never had staggered heats in nationals in Finland as far as I know. In 2WD there was also 3 guys who missed their marshaling turn and suffered penalty, but from those only one was Finnish tho.

Anton Savel'ev and Sami Salmela missed the start in heat 3 (Q3). Anton just wasn't in the box in time and Sami needed to take the car into repairs. Anton started as last and Sami hasn't appeared at the track at all.

Brian Preddy broke his wing at the second jump and didn't continue.

Yeah it was the wrong one first from 2WD class (printed wrong list), but correct should be there now.

Hopefully you liked the coverage today. We'll continue tomorrow with live video and audio.. And also with this oOple exclusive commentary on this thread.

Fingers crossed I can get the live stream working at home tomorrow, I think I have it working already and it shows the race times now. I just can't play so much in work , but tomorrow I will be cheering on Ellis and (hopefully) Tom in the A final.

(very nice timekeeping system the RCM btw!)

Rumour has it "Helga" is defeated by a girl with an even larger "shelf" down there! We should have gone there...

there is a 'hole' in the red collar (as pictured in Jimmys report)
from what I understand you stick an allen driver in there and 'turn' the spur (or rear wheels) and it adjusts like a nut

so yes, it can be adjusted on the track, I also belive it has a rubber o-ring in the colloar (like the Trinity shock adjuster collars) so it does not come undone but can be adjusted when you want

Chris. Will you be trying a B44 slipper on your S4?
