Over the moon with my Kyosho Vega. Sometimes you need to queue for parts but that's because they are bespoke fabricated by a one man outfit. Combined with Kyoshos quality mouldings it's a class act. They have a couple of retailers who are most helpful and have always sorted me out.

I'm sure that the Cougar will be a fantastic car too and fast in capable hands. I ran a pro for a season and aside from the std front c hubs it was very reliable and easy to drive.

There are teething problems with most new cars you may have noticed. The trouble is that without intending to point any individuals out, a lot here bounce their cars upside down off every obsticle at 25mph and are then shocked when it breaks, bends etc and come on here moaning. It's unrealistic and quite funny really.

Hi
I had a cougar last season was good but the wear on the parts was just too much for me,and seemed a little on the brittle side no i dont hit things,Diff was ok but nothing special, dont forget though problems on new cars when they come out schumacher did a new gear box and gave them out as a free replacment i beleive to the 1st batch customers.

But now got a rb5 wc vega kit all i can say is wow the best cars for fit i ever had was the xray cars but kyosho is there with them all just fell together perfect, diff is awsome just like the b4 build no silly c clips, shocks are the best and smoothest i have built.

I did the end of series finals last year and one car just stood out how it jumped and went around the track, only upon looking closer did i see it was a vega rb5,but run mine a few times now it has to be the best car i have seen on and off the track you can feel what the car is doing.
Not saying the sv2 wont be like that but i would wait and see if you can what people think about them .

harsh,na if I realy let rip and ,If I were to be totaly frank about my cougar days I would realy stir it up and upset people, but there is no point whatso ever, water under the bridge now,

Goes to show tho,I have been racing for 30ish years.....and wanted to run the car over with my truck. You have raced for the same amount of time and love it, so it realy is marmite, as are all cars

Was refering to the previous sv pro and I suppose time will tell with the sv2 but the issues I had were with build quality with a number of components. The b4 vega is at the other end of the scale in my view, but only my humble opinion.

If you want to be pedantic, nobody (apart from a team driver who has driven both (SV2 accessibility)) can give a relevant answer to this question. And having a quick blast with a car is very different from owning and maintaining one. This said, i'm sure a team driver would not experience difficulties in getting replacement parts to the extent that us mortals do,so would they factor this in to thier evaluation?,...i think not.

Anyway Durango all the way!........sorry not relevant
