The unshielded bearings should last ok, particularly indoors.

For Tamiya shells, here are 2 good ones:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tamiya-M-C...item1e6b3b2766

The seller is Rich who races at the club (drives the black/white Cougar). If you message him you should be able to pay/collect at the club.

Here are some other good ones:

RE HPI bodyshells, here are some that will fit:

http://www.modelsport.co.uk/hpi-dats...products/32857

http://www.modelsport.co.uk/hpi-dats...products/32858

http://www.modelsport.co.uk/hpi-toyo...products/33938

For the shells that require an offet, you may need wheel hex extensions or offset wheels.

The Civic shell does look good.

I run metal shielded bearings and haven't had any problems, rubber might be better though

I quite like the Porka - motor is in the right place on the m06. Think Dave can do one for £22, but you also need 6mm offset rear wheels

Yeah or you could use Tamiya tg10 axles and the large hexes that come with the m03 will do the trick. Have to dig mine out !
