Going with saddles looks to be the best way to keep wiring short.

I just hope with all these photos popping up were not far away from owning one.

after seeing the production layout I had to go and solder my saddle link wire up

Look nice .

Do you think it will do a 20/30 min final on one set of cell's, if not it doesn't look like a quick battery change

as other elec rally x cars can make 20 mins i see no reason why this would not. though im sure the elec class will come up with suitable rules for final times

totally agree, the more 8th EP coming out the sooner the we see heats and events being held.

I took the safe bet and just got 6500mah lipos but im sure normal 5000ish should do 15mins.

Dont forget your running 4 cell and not 2 cell, so in my case id have 13000mah to dispose of and a typical 5000mah lipo would obviously have 10000mah

2s won't power that T8 motor, so its gotta be 4s.

I'm wondering if this car is light enough (I bet is not much heavier than a Losi SCTE) to put a Pro-4 4600kv motor in it, if so, you could run 2s wired in parallel for huge runtime. That would be pretty cool..

It looks nice alright, but apart from electronics instead of a cylinder head poking through the body, what's different on this car? Different chassis plate, sidepods, spur and slipper, other chassis parts as well perhaps? I'd love to see a list of things that are developed/changed specifically for the DEX408

It's stock front and rear ends, no slipper.
