mops are the future, my head is growing a bit of a mop.

from the 2005 season I found that mop=fast in 4WD - no mop=fast in 2WD

its not that easy, mid-length means you are average at both.

you need to choose, 2WD or 4WD.

Carl has an interesting idea though....

I wonder what Tom's views on this are?

How short should the head be shaved to be fast with 2wd? Ive been testing this theory, I started at No.3 shave and im at No.2 now and im still doing better with 4wd than 2wd.

Could it be related to hairs in other places? ...... such as eyebrows?

I wonderred if it was to do with wearing wonky caps before I read this thread...

Don't much care what his hair looks like so long as he's holding the correct car and the big trophy. However, we do have a few standards...

Faster than you ever were? You got beaten by a girl in the 4wd Nationals last year, and a rubbish girl at that!

On the hair... does level of skill correspond to length of hair? If so I should be kicking some 4wd ass...!

Do curls / straightness have any effect on performance?

wouldnt the weight set-up of the car effect the origional set up of the car ?

for example the front end wouldnt carry the same amount of weight on the B4 compared to the X-6 when the 4 gear comes into action when the accelaration is hit ?..

if any of that makes sence lol, but then again, if it was really that bad it wouldnt have worked right and he wouldnt ahve gotton TQ !

cracking driver mind, maybe that helped alot though....

Conclusion: Losi shocks are better. LOL, Tom confirms this.

Therefore, could have been faster at Batley

As Rich said I put AE shocks on to copy a B4 front end setup. When I ran my car at Worksop I ran both AE and Losi shocks and found the Losi Shocks to be better.
