Car choice for 1:10 off road 2wd

Ok made a choice, for the winter the MMP and 3800 won't be much use for the SCT (I bash the truck pretty much daily) as it is not waterproof (I know this can be done, but can wait), the stock system is not bad for a bit of fun, next season the upgrades will come

So.....I had a chat wiv da misses and she says she'll buy me a 1:10 buggy for Xmas, all I have to do is get running gear - will need you guys advice on this (motor, esc, servo) but for the RC I'm going for basic 2.4 Ansmann - good reviews and might as well be free at the price ;0)

After a lot of thought I really want a 1:10 2WD, for my starter car as lots of local(ish) club run these, the popular models seem to be mad monkey, Losi 22, and Associated B4.1 - I'm probably going for a second hand Losi 22 for three main reasons 1) seen some good second hand ones at good prices, 2) they can be fore or aft motored so I can see what's best for me, 3) Spares are quiet readily available 4) over the MM, they already have decent shocks (quiet expensive)

Thanks to you guys for your opinions, they have helped me a lot - mainly to decide that all three cars are good and I've probably chosen one of them but may be swayed toward the Any of them at the last minute lol
