Now that there are a few Saab fans on this forum, I thought I would set the ball rolling with a picture of my 9-5 Aero. Car is totally standard but may be temped with a remap in the future
![]() Dyna - have you got a picture of the Viggen? definately a modern classic! ![]() ![]()

Do you know i cant find many pictures of any of my cars, let alone all the Saabs ive owned or own.... ![]() Im sure ive got some somewhere of the Viggen though, taken when it was looking nice and shiney this summer - ill see if i can find them. In the meantime here's one of my early flat-nose C900 Turbo's... had 3 of these, sold this pictured one not long ago, scrapped another for parts but Ive kept the best one, which is one of the earliest flat-nose surviors... best 80's tradition, burghandy leather interior & dash, the works ![]() Great car, i prefer the C900 Turbo's over the more modern 9-3 Viggen tbh. ![]() |

Looks like somebody has taken a 9-5 body and dropped it from a height onto a Le Man car

One of my friends had a Abbott Racing 9000 Saab and talk about quick for 1993 vehicle. It had as much power as a Escort RS Cosworth, but only front wheel drive

I brought my first Saab this year I must admit I am very impressed . Its Saab Aero HOT estate. Wow its quick . Ive fallen in love with it because built quality and it's spec. I stopped using it because it does 16mpg - 28mpg when i drove it very sensibly I got 30-35mpg .
I'm thinking of buying 3.0 V6 TD . hopefully it should be less thirsty . ![]() |

If you can stretch to a 1.9 TTID (180 Bhp) they are much more reliable, plus better n the tax/insurance. Otherwise I would stick with the Aero and take the hit on the fuel -the repair bills will be much more expensive.
